Glutathione is an amino acid considered to be the most effective antioxidant readily available to people. Cryosurgery

Skin cryosurgery is a procedure originally performed to treat skin lesions. But it can also be used to remove some types of skin blemishes (such as freckles) to create fairer skin. The process uses liquid nitrogen to induce excess melanin to surface and peel off, and cause the skin to regenerate naturally. It is particularly useful for sensitive areas such as the face as it has very little risk of scarring. 


Laser Treatments

Laser treatment (also known as laser resurfacing, lasabrasion) is a more recent type of procedure for reducing melasma (what gives color to the skin), as well as treating other facial skin irregularities, such as blemishes and acne scars. Laser treatments are very precise, removing skin layer by layer, provide effective and lasting results, and let patients return to normal activities immediately. 


Intense Pulse Light (IPL)

IPL uses a gentle, non-invasive process called photorejuvenation to treat photoaged skin, remove age spots, and reduce redness and benign brown pigments of the skin. This procedure is often preferable for people with an active lifestyle as it requires no downtime and has a low risk of side effects. IPL treatment can be applied to the face, as well as to the chest, neck and hands. 


Combination Treatments

These are typically treatments that outside of the doctor’s office, and use a combination of topical lotions and gels to promote skin whitening. The products used contain melanin-inhabiting ingredients. This type of treatment is often paired with exfoliants and other kinds of skin-lightening treatments. The most used compounds in combination treatments include Tretinoin, Hydroquinon, Arbutin, Kojic acid, Azelaic acid, Vitamin C, Alpha hydroxy acids, and Niacinamide.
